The 10 Emerging Sustainable Cities to Watch in 2012,
list Doha, Seoul, San Jose, Detroit, Adelaide, Brasilia, Naples, Mexico City, Belgrade and Accra. I VISITED DOHA TO PARTICIPATE IN DOHA COP 18 IN NOVEMBER 2012 AND FOUND THE FOLLOWING FACTS WHICH I WISH TO SHARE- Doha?s Tornado Tower, a landmark example of a Siemens Total Building Solution, was lit up in green using energy efficient LED lights for the duration of COP18. The award winning Doha Tower JEAN NOUVEL witnessed during the construction of the tower, quite a lot of attention to heat isolation in order to keep energy consumption for temperature regulation under control, the conventional double glazed glass panes coupled with the protective outer cladding served to reduce heat within the building, which was therefore less taxing for the cooling system. http://www.greenbuilding-me.com/doha-ranked-among-10-emerging-sustainable-cities-to-watch/ The list has been compiled by Leon Kaye, the founder and editor of GreenGoPost.com and its advisory division, GGP Media. What a beautiful lighting! The pictures really wish me to go there. I find it pretty surprising that Seoul is picked up as an emerging city in sustainability. ^^

It's really cool.. I hope to visit there someday since my dream is being a green architect.. And it's good news that Seoul's been selected as one of 10 Emerging Sustainable Cities to Watch. I guess we should take close looks to find out whats going on to keep you guys informed :)
