Green Globe, World Environment Day Declamation Competition |

World Environment Day (WED) is observed every year on 5th June to raise global awareness to bring out a positive environmental impact among the general public to protect our nature and the Mother Earth.
Tens of thousands of people all over the world mark the World Environment Day (WED) with various events and I under my organization Green Globe organized an World Environmental day Declamation Competition. Student members were divided into three categories based on their classes Grades 1-3, Grades 4-8 and Grades 9-12.
The event had 30 participants who were shortlisted from over 100 applicants. The chief guest of the event was Mr. Ifthikhar Hamdani, the General Manager of Ramada Hotel and Suites and the judge of the event was Ms. Kushal, a Biotech Engineer. while I anchored the event. All winners were provided gift vouchers, Certificates of Appreciation and trophies. It was a wonderful learning experience too. Students had an opportunity to have an in-depth research and analysis of their respective topics while preparing their speech. It also brought out young talents by providing an opportunity to showcase their talent and helped promote positive awareness among the community. Humaid, that's such an amazing way to spend your WED with those students. I suppose you have learned a lot from anchoring the program and listening to speeches each participant have prepared. Thanks for sharing such wonderful event and have a great day!
