Zimbabwe, a diverse and beautiful land, filled with much potential and hope, is one of the poorest nations in the world due to social, economic and political challenges. However, zimbabweans, ever resilient have found multiple ways to use the little they have to change and impact their lives. Zimbabweans are some of the most prolific individuals on the planet, recycling being a norm in over 80% of homes in the nation.

 With cultural roots being deep seated in the times of kings and queens, with egg shells being use to keep water cool in the household, and cow dung being used to polish floors. Even now, a typical home in zimbabwe, paper bags from shopping malls to package meat in the home, and use as general containers. Old shoes and clothes, are rarely ever thrown away but rather donated to fellow relatives and/or orphanages. When a spirit of re use, and recycle is in born in your DNA like this, it only makes sense, that even in the poorest nation in the world, businesses and companies, all aim to have a green thumb in their work. From projects looking at recycling waste fuel, to laws against use of enviromentally unfriendly packaging, Zimbabwe is a country of 13 million people obsessed with their environment.

Wether it is due to the lack of reliability of garbage collection services, or simply a cultural norm, lets all try to get wasted with Zimbabwe.
