[Book Review]

by Vazira Ikhtiyorova | 13-06-2019 08:29 recommendations 3

We all have two or more than two options in our lives. For example, before starting something new, we come up with A, B, C solutions, ideas but no one knows that there's no planet B!
The book that made me think of worrying about our planet, the place where we live in and of course to write a review regarding it is truly an amazing book with its main idea. Let me finally tell you the name of this book "There Is No Planet B: A Handbook for the Make or Break Years". I am sure the person, reading this article is attracted by just its title, yet the book itself is much more appealing!
The list of problems existing in this world seems eternal such as biodiversity, climate change, plastics... But there's a question, what should we do first? What's the solution for it? Should we ban using technology? A bunch of question comes to our minds and we get stuck in them, yet after reading this book you will definitely be immersed by the written each sentence, ideas. Fortunately, Mike Berners-Lee has crunched the numbers and plotted a course of action that is practical and even enjoyable. There is No Planet B maps it out in an accessible and entertaining way, filled with astonishing facts and analysis. For the first time, you'll find big-picture perspective on the environmental and economic challenges of the day laid out in one place, and traced through to the underlying roots - questions of how we live and think. This book will shock you, surprise you - and then make you laugh. And you'll find practical and even inspiring ideas for what you can actually do to help humanity thrive on this - our only - planet. This book gives even more inspiration for everyone to change their thinking and to change their actions.
I do hope that this book will give you life-changing ideas, experience!  I usually always mention in my speech, articles these two phrases:
1) By small acts, we will achieve big impacts!
2) Teamwork makes the dreamwork!
Let this book be your favourite one and unite whole your family towards the prosperity of our planet, let it be called "Planet A"!
Thank you!

    Hi Vaira,

Thank you for writing this report and I cannot agree with you more about two points that you mentioned at the end of the report. 1) By small acts, we will achieve big impacts! 2) Teamwork makes the dreamwork! I think these two points are so true. We should have more confidence in our actions and good deeds! Let's never give up! :)

    Hey there Vazira!

I hope you are well! This book is appealing indeed! I like that author tries to cover as many aspects of concerns we as society have be asking ourselves. I particularly like the end of your report when you said 'Teamwork makes the dreamwork!' and that is so true in every way.

Thank you so much for sharing your working with us Vazira!

    With gratitude.

    Hello Vazira

¡°There is no planet B!¡± This sentence has truly impressed me. Sometimes people treat the earth as if there are other alternatives. However, we must realize that there is no such thing as an alternative planet that humans can live on. Also, it is very interesting that this book has offered a new and broader perspective on the environmental and economics challenges of the day in our lives. Thanks for sharing your wonderful book review and I look forward to your next report : )
