by Bal krishna Pandey | 04-10-2019 21:14 recommendations 0

I was selected as 23rd regional ambassador of Tunza Eco Generation , which was my dream and I am very thankful to you all for making it success.
I have participated as tunza ambassador in many programs so that I got success to make people aware about many global issues and I learned from them too.
Here is some of my programs that I conducted in september. I was program coordinator in many of them and as participant, I joined several events.

1. Afforestation and Cleanup Campaign
An afforestation program was successfully organized on dated 2076 Bhadra 8(August 25,2019) within the periphery of beautiful Rhino Lake situated at Rambel Samudiyak Ban, Bharatpur 12 with the main motive of conserving environment involving youths along with the objectives of promoting local tourism to support theme ¡°VISIT NEPAL 2020¡± and conserving Environment. The afforestation program was mainly organized by Leo club of Bharatpur Chautari where I got a chance to represent myself as Tunza Eco Generation 23rd regional ambassador. We were successful to plant about 200 plants. The plants are mainly for beautification of the lake to attract more people for peace of the mind. Personally, I donated 5 flower plants and actively took part in the program.
During the program, we also discussed about Tunza Eco Generation and its opportunities. I was very happy to share my experience as a member of TEG. Also, I shared the information about the essay competition organized by Tunza . Some of them were highly interested about it and now they are member also.
At last, we organized a short clean up campaign and maintained the periphery plastic free.

2.International Literacy Day 2019 september 8
Being 23rd regional tunza eco generation ambassador, I planned for short knowledge sharing program about animal welfare and environment to the childern of local schools. Luckily, I met some of my friends who represent animal welfare related organization 'Veterinary Students For Animal Welfare' who have same plan to do on this occasion. We planned some programs but we chose school awareness which might be effective in short period. We chose three school around Rampur, Chitwan and got permission to organize the program. Collection of effective presentation materials, making powerpoint slides and other management was successfully done with combine effort which made more easy to conduct the program.

3.Stand for Animal Welfare
My presence on a campaign "stand for animals" which was organized by various organizations. The main motto of the program was to aware the mass about animal welfare and to make people disagree in animal cruelty.Nepal veterinary student Association( Rampur and NPI) and Better Chitwan were organizers. I was present in the program as a veterinarian and ambassador of Tunza Eco Generation. Though I didn't have any banner or promotional goods for e-gen, I made some pamphlets for represention.

4.International Peace Day 2019
The children were very happy to celebrate International day for Peace 2019. This is the environment of Kids Home English Boarding School, Nawalpur, Nepal. On the occasion of this auspicious day, child club of the school organized art program to promote peace, to stop violence. As children have raw mind, we should fill them with positivity.

5.Rabies week celebration(20 to 28 September)

a) poster art competition
On 20th september 2019, national poster art competition was successfully organized at Agriculture and Forestry University, Chitwan, Nepal. Nepal Veterinary Students' Association, AFU was the organizer. Total 24 participant from different colleges were present at the program. Beautiful poster art with a great messages were successfully presented. After poster art competition, powerpoint presentation program was conducted to convey some important negelected facts about rabies. I was program coordinator.

b) Rabies awareness to Students
Students of Laxmi higher secondary school, Bharatpur 9, Chitwan were given information about Rabies, its symptoms, effects, vaccination and methods of prevention through poster and video presentation.

c) Vaccination against Rabies
We successfully conducted rabies vaccination program. Around 250 dogs and 45 cats were vaccinate at different rural areas of chitwan district, Nepal. This is not such a big umber but it will definitely make some contribution in eradicating rabies from the society. It was a great experience going to the local level and vaccinating pets as well as stray dogs. People were also made aware about rabies and ways to prevent through leaflets distribution.

d) Rally for mass awareness
28 September 2019
It was my great experience to participate in Rabies Awareness Rally, on the date of World Rabies Day celebrated globally with the theme rabies vaccinate to eliminate. Awareness rally was held at Bharatpur, chitwan in which different organizations were collaborated. Also street act drama was presented at Chaubiskothi, Chitwan to create awareness among public about Rabies.

I would like to give special thanks to all the organizations related to the programs. And I am very happy to be here, Tunza Eco Generation, a great platform for betterment.
