[Free Report] Water Pollution In Vietnam

by Dat Hua | 27-10-2019 18:30 recommendations 0

Hello everyone . This writing will be about water pollution in Vietnam . I hope you guys will enjoy this article .
In recent years water resource in Vietnam has been polluted seriously. Accordingto a group of researchers and experts in America and Australia listed 12 countries affecting considerably to the ocean by the year 2018 and Southeast Asia area has up to 5 representatives: Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines. China ranks the first with nearly 8.8 million plastic wastes, and Vietnam ranks the fourth with 1.8 million. It is really alarming that the developing countries are main causes of environmental pollution in 10 recent years. A terrible fact probably occurring by 2050 is that the ocean contains much more wastes than sea creatures if the plastic wastes situation is still continuing, according to the United Nations report. In addition, the unexpected fact is that it takes only 5 seconds to produce a plastic bag, 1 second to throw but up to 500 or even 1000 years to decompose .
A reason for water pollution in Vietnam is that many companies and enterprises cannot manage rubbish and then pour wastes into rivers and streams, which the government can not control at all. Meanwhile, rivers and streams are two main sources of water for use.
It is constantly urgent for the government and businesses to take responsibility for water pollution. The government should have new strict laws to prevent companies from pouring wastes into the water and manage better-piped water systems in many areas.
That's all my report . I hope you like it and don not hesitate to let me know what you think about this status . Thank you !

    Hello Dat

Pouring water waste into the river and using them again, viscous cycle of water pollution seems to take place in Vietnam. In my opinion, the first thing is to change people and industry's awareness about the water pollution. They shouldn't take the water resource for granted. As you mentioned, continuation of such situation won't last long.
In addition to that, I'm very surprised by the simple comparison between the time in producing the plastic bag and the time for decomposition.
I truly hope the situation of Vietnam get better as soon as possible.

Thank you for the great report.

    Keep up the good work.

    Hey Dat!
    It's Lisa once again:)

You truly are a global reporter, dealing environmental issues of different countries:)
I never really knew about the seriousness of water pollution in Vietnam!
Although there might be some domestic companies that are creating environmental harm in the country, I am assuming that there are many multinational enterprises deeply involved in this problem just like they are in many of the pollutions in developing countries.
I feel really bad that multinational companies are exploiting the environment and nature of some developing nations to get rid of their waste and be free from the responsibilities of the developed states.
Since these companies are not necessarily bound to the government of a state, I think international cooperations and institutions need to move to restrict the detrimental activities of these global culprits.

    Thanks for your report!
    Enjoyed reading it:)
    Nice Job!
