Junior Engineering Academy 2019

by Vazira Ikhtiyorova | 06-12-2019 13:01 recommendations 1

Junior Engineering Academy has been an amazing, a fabulous part in my life!
I will never forget those days, people. They mean so much to me. I had lovely friends from Thailand, Kazakhstan, UAE, Malaysia, South Korea,Saudi Arabia, India, Australia. We have done some many things together. I was the member of D group. I can proudly say that we have done a great job with our last project. We presented the country which is really hot and industrially developed, yet we were told to choose the energy we would like to consume and many more. Moreover, our facilitators were fantastic, were always ready to help. A bunch of professional speakers were invited to share their stories. By the way, we discussed current global environmental issues too. Since, I was the representative of Uzbekistan, I was eager to respond who was interested in it. I should mention out visit to Samsung Global Engineering Center which was amazing too! The educational and scientific part of the project was really gripping.
Despite the tough schedule, we have visited so many cultural sightseeing of South Korea. The country is technologically advanced, ancient and at the same time modern. I truly appreciate people how hardworking they are and always ready to give a hand. We had experience to wear Korean national dress Hanbok and see homes Hanok. The tour guides did their best to explain the history in brief but interesting. We also have visited the Korea¡¯s largest shopping street and tried street food.  We have tried Korean national food and Indian food as well.
The last day we exchanged our gifts we brought and I think literally everyone loved this part because this is actually what it reminds of them after the end of the program and it is true! I will never forget this experience and taught me so many things I didn¡¯t know. Probably, I will never stop the organizing committee to thank.
I have discovered a new world in engineering and thank you Tunza for everything ❤️!
