Tunza on my village: Power of words. |

Greeting From Nepal, I always believe that small act can bring a great impact, so with such belief, spirit and determination I ever encourage people and children of my reach to fulfill their responsibility towards our mother earth. I had focused my keen eyes to make people aware especially of the rural area. Children of rural area are still unknown and unaware of the various environmental issues, which is creating negative impact on the environment, Being an ambassador of Tunza Eco Network I had never left any stone return back and I had ever wanted to share this platform with others, Thanks to Tunza for changing a nerd into a environmental activist. Addition to this, Here today I organized speech competition at government school Shree Sagarnath Secondary school of Sagarnath Village, I gave three topics i.e Climate change and its effect, Plastic pollution and its effect on environment and careless use of pesticides on land along with its impact on environment. At first I began my presentation giving the description of this elite platform, anthropogenic activities on environment along with its effect, then around 25 students gave their views on the topics, I also make them aware of the plastic pollution and the history of its life i.e degradation, they were too stunned to see the havoc condition due to plastic pollution, similarly, I organized eco quiz too so the session won’t become a boring lecture, they were so happy to know about this platform and they had told me to thank this platform how Eco team are so concerned for our earth, finally the winner were announced which was totally based on the judge ment done by Jury, I provided them with the eco stationary, and some copies. They had also promised to translate the words into actions. Teachers had also promised to form the Eco network team from the school and most importantly they had been so much inspired by Tunza and the Team, Now the children had said that they will dispose the plastics wrappers on the proper place and will ever carry their own bag. To sum up, last but not the least I would like to offer my sincere gratitude to the teachers, students, as well my parents for making this programme successful. I promise that my every action will always in favor of our Earth because I am the women of this Earth, most importantly we are the Human of this Earth and its our duty and responsibility to conserve and handover safely to our Future Generation. Your services for the Earth will be the rent you pay for the room in the Earth. So Lets Work Together, and I believe together we can make a change..... Shall We??????? GREEN CHEERS!!!!!!! |

Hosting a speech competition seems to be a very creative idea. Students participating in the competition must have gotten another opportunity to think about the environment. And in the process of preparing for the contest, they probably had searched for the valuable information about the nature, and those knowledge will be of a big help when they tell people about the importance of preserving the environment.
It's good to see your great environmental action!
