A few months ago, We can see that the lock down measures in various major cities during the pandemic of the corona virus resulting in unbelievably good results for nature. Whether it is air, forest and water, and most recently, the reduction of underwater noise allows experts to predict that this crisis could have a positive effect on whales and other marine mammals.
The researchers tested real-time underwater sound signals from observation points on the undersea floor. Operated by the Ocean Networks Canada near Vancouver Harbor and found that the low-frequency noise associated with the ship was significantly reduced by measuring the "loudness" in the 100 Hz frequency range from 2 areas: on the mainland and in the sea far from the coast and discovered that the noise decreased from both areas.
Marine scientists around the world most of which cannot fully research due to the epidemic situation both gather information from opportunities "Once in a lifetime" to hear the whale sounds this time by the Center for Environment, Fisheries and Marine Science (Cefas), United Kingdom have installed an underwater microphone to collect audio data from 4 locations, 2 of which are in the North Sea. Hi Poomrapee Sommana, this is a mentor, Sang Su Lee.
I am so glad to see that (mixed feeling though) COVID-19 has helped marine animals to live in the better condition. For me also, city noise is really bothersome. There are so annoying indeed. We should realize that some behaviors that we did without consideration can harm other animals...

Generally, whales are very sociable and mysterious animals known to communicate with each other as curses. Although it is endangered because it requires special equipment and techniques to observe these whales, it is said that it is difficult to determine the exact number of whales, so we need more research on them!
