[Free Report] Jute Products Can Be Your Next Sustainable Fashion Choice

by Troyee Mutsuddy | 10-07-2020 20:35 recommendations 0

Jute is a natural, long, shiny fiber that comes from a plant vegetable. Jute fibers can be spun into threads and the threads can be used for various sturdy burlap and gunny clothing materials. It is also known as the ¡°Golden Fiber¡±.

Like Cotton, Jute plants grow tall in fields but Jute tends to take much less water and zero chemical pesticides and fertilizers to produce. Warm climate with high humidity (70-80%) is best to grow Jute, and it only requires fertile soil and water to grow.  So not only the production value of Jute is much cheaper than other clothing material sources, since it does not require use of pesticides and chemical products to grow, it's much less harmful to land.

Jute has incredible durable properties, as it can be used for a variety of products like rugs, curtains, shopping bags, shoes, clothes, tables and what not! Mixing with Jute fiber other materials like Cotton can be used for clothes.

Jute is an environmentally friendly ¡°Eco-fiber¡± for its various merits such as the following-

  1. Jute grows without the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides

  2. It is extremely growth efficient as it takes only 4-6 months to grow and can be grown on the same land more than once as it increases soil fertility. It only requires natural rainfall to grow so it's an easier irrigation process than other crops which require an extensive irrigation process.

  3. It is biodegradable (degrades biologically in 1-2 years) and recyclable

  4. Jute plants absorb Carbon Dioxide and releases Oxygen several times higher than most trees and plants

  5. Jute fibers are strong and durable, so its a much sensible option to use Jute bags instead of Plastic bags, not only for the environment but also economic

  6. There are many possibilities of Jute that are still unexploited, for example the wooden core of Jute can potentially satisfy the raging need of wood. Jute can also be used into making paper which can help reduce deforestation worldwide.

Hi Troyee Mutsuddy, this is a mentor, Sang Su Lee.

It is indeed true that fashion industry wasted the environment badly. I believe that, after reading your article, this fabric, jute can save the environment with its many Eco-friendly features. In addition, consumers should endeavor to purchase this particular type of clothes because if there is only supply and no demand, then there is no need to produce.

    Green cheers~

Hello Troyee Mutsuddy, this is mentor Taehyun!

Thank you for your article on EcoFiber! It's environmentally friendly, and most of all, it's a great material for making a real Eco Bag because it's biodegradable quickly and naturally unlike other plastic products. Recently, I saw an article that some of the Ecobags were made of synthetic fibers, so it's not really that environmentally friendly, so I think it's urgent to introduce Eco Fiber.

    Thank you for the report!

    GREEN CHEERS!
