Result Announcement:
On the Occasion of the International Biological Diversity Day 2021, Regional Ambassador to Asia has hosted “Lets Hear from you” campaign with the theme “We are the part of solution #fornature” where participant were asked to share the possible solution on the ongoing pressing environmental threat.


It is with honor to share with you all that we got maximum number of participant for the campaign. All together we got 35 participant and among them only 28 participant succeed to fulfill the criteria of the programme. 28 poster along with their ideas was shared from Facebook page of Tunza Eco Generation, remaining one who sent email after deadline were not shared but they will be provided with the e-certificates for the encouragement and appreciation for their participation. It was indeed an herculean task to choose winner from the pool of such extraordinary ideas. So the judgement was made on two phase:
 
Phase I: Top 8 contestant were selected from the internal evaluation done by ambassador herself where their idea were evaluated with the theme given, post engagement and the relevancy of the content.
 
Phase II : For second phase Ms. Shilshila Acharya, environment activist as well as Board of Director of Avni Centre for Sustainability and CEO of Himalayan Climate Initiative. She was provided with contestant article without any identification of the Contestant for the judicial judgement. Her selection criteria was also on the basis of the relevancy of content, how much it match with the theme and solution that can be adopted from the local level. I express my huge thankfulness to Ms. Shilshila Acharya mam for her kind acceptance and contributing valuable time in judging the ideas. She and her team had been also organizing some Online courses to cultivate knowledge on young people about the sustainability and climate change. She has also promised to provide some scholarship to the winners for the upcoming courses on Sustainability.
 
So now, without any ado I would like to announce the winner and runner up of the programme. We have Ms. Asmita Dhakal from Kathmandu who succeed to win this competition (Score evaluated from phase 1+phase 2). She has presented her idea on Possible solution on Land Degradation and Desertification. I express my thankfulness to her for sharing such an insightful solution.
