Status : Critically Endangered
Introduction
Northern White Rhinos Of all the rhinoceros species in the world, the Northern white is a sub species of the white rhinos and is the most endangered. Rhinos generally are a species under threat as a result of intense poaching for its horn for various uses, most of which are medical and unproved. There are only 5 individuals left globally. One is in Czech Republic, one in San Diego and three in Kenya. Due to highly unfortunate conditions, breeding is proving to be a great challenge for the species and it may very soon become completely extinct.
