Introduction
The brazilian blue bird (arara-azul) is in risk of extinction. Its scientific name is Anodorhynchus hyacinthinus and the bird is very outstanding due to its beauty, size and behavior. These birds like to fly in groups or pairs in the evening. Their food is composed by nuts, usually from the coconut. The blue bird starts to build family around the 7 years old. The couple is very loyal to each other. Unfortunately, its habitat has being destroyed because of illegal hunting or animal trafficking. Therefore, it is necessary to have a very strict monitoring followed by in Brazilian forests in order to cease the criminal market of animals and the negative impact to nature.
