Introduction
The Giant Armadillo is the largest living species of armadillo. It lives in South America, ranging throughout as far south as northern Argentina. The Giant Armadillo is on the red list of IUCN as endangered since 2014. Giant Armadillos live in the plains and forests of South America. The reason they are brought to the brink of extinction is because of humans. One reason there are fewer Giant Armadillos now, is that their living space is being used for farm land. This land is used to make raw materials like sugarcane, oil, etc. Since oil is limited and people need new sources of energy, the Giant Armadillo has been put under threat and has become a victim. We need to think of a way that people and wild life can live together in harmony.
