'Change Makers' Global Award: Season 1

At present, for a youth to come up and launch his/her initiative, he/she needs a lot of courage and self determination. There are lack of platforms and opportunities and we aim to change that.

Sfe. (Students For The Earth) is a youth organization, completely run by school and college going students, started in 2013. We have no physical office, no funds, no membership fees, no budgets, no servers, etc. We aim to organize events at lowest cost (or Zero cost, if possible), possible. If the event we plan requires more funding, we either pool in money from our small savings or try to get support from CSR initiatives, etc. 
Till date, more than 100 events and more than 1000 students have taken part Globally in Sfe. Events. 
From 2017 September onwards, Sfe. has expanded and now will consist of small "Sfe. Chapters" that work at school/college/area level which will be headed by Sfe. HQs in respective countries or Sfe. Global HQ. 
Sfe. Chapters are small youth groups and carry out same activities as the vision and mission of Sfe. states in variety of fields including charity, humanitarian, environment, arts, music, sports, etc. But as always, Sfe. Chapters are totally non-profit, aiming to create a positive change in the community. 

How to Be Part of "Sfe. Change Makers" Season 1?

First of all, decide where you want to work, either in your school/college or any other institution you are going or the area/locality where you live. 
Then, start an Sfe. Chapter in the area. (Details and Procedures are given on the website. Links below. Even though our online form only gives option for school/college, you can also register in as your area too).
Carry out activities. Then submit the "Sfe. Change Makers" Application form (to be released in first quarter of 2018) along with necessary evidences before July 31st 2018. Only Events carried out between December 4th 2017 and July 31st 2018 can be mentioned. 
Any number of events can be organized. All events and projects will be judged and awards will be given in various categories.

Suppose if you already have an Eco Club or Charitable Group, etc already running in your school/college/area, you can instead register that Organization to take part in "Sfe. Change Makers". In that case, be sure to register that group as a member of Sfe. Consortium.
Please note, all Sfe. Chapters are totally independent and organizes and issues documents on their own. They only need to follow some rules and regulations set for all chapters.
Also, all member organizations of Sfe. Consortium are totally independent and not bound by any rules, etc from Sfe.. They are definitely encouraged to follow, but not compulsory. They can function as they are.
There is no financial obligation being a part of Sfe. Chapters of Sfe. Consortium.

 Award Categories (List can change later)

  1. Best Sfe. Chapter (Group award) (Globally and also, Region/Country wise, if needed)
  2. Best Member Of Sfe. Consortium (Group award) (Globally and also, Region/Country wise, if needed)
  3. Change Maker of the Year (Individual Award) (Globally and also, Region/Country wise, if needed)
  4. Best Mentor of the Year (Individual Award) (Globally and also, Region/Country wise, if needed)
  5. Best Projects in different Fields separately (Environment, Community, Youthify(Art/Music/Youth Leadership, etc)  (Globally and also, Region/Country wise, if needed)
  6. Most Innovative Projects
  7. Projects with most Outreach
  8. Best use of Social Media
  9. Best Volunteers
  10. Best Organizers
  11. Best Parents

Award 

At present, the award will include an e-certificate and also global recognition.
Incase we are able to find many sponsors/partners/supporters, we plan to include or expand the prizes, including mementos, Certificates, etc.
