Background

In 2020, Faith for Earth partnered with the Parliament of World Religions, Bhumi Global, and the United Religions Initiative to publish a landmark Progress & Outlook Report on Faith Action on the UN Sustainbale Development Goals to commemorate 5 years after the launch of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The Report focused on mapping the contributions of Faith-Based Organisations (FBOs) to the SDGs, highlighting impactful projects and provides recommendations for achieving greater impact. 

This unprecedented partnership has been extended to the Yale Forum on Religion and Ecology (YALE FORE) in 2021 which has seen the production of a public online database providing a faith-based tool for change. The Database seeks to solicit the existing work and monumental efforts by FBOs in addressing climate issues worldwide, facilitating the production of an annual report demonstrating the global, regional and local efforts.
