[Ambassador report] [Thematic report] Problems and Solutions

It is very necessary to classify garbage. Garbage collection can reduce the amount of garbage disposal and treatment equipment, reduce the treatment cost and reduce the consumption of land resources, and has social, economic, and ecological benefits. Reduce floor space.

However, most of the garbage disposal methods in many countries in the world are in the traditional landfill method, occupying tens of thousands of mu of land. In addition, insects and flies fly around, sewage overflows, and stinks, seriously polluting the environment. Some substances in domestic waste are not easy to degrade, causing serious erosion of the land. Garbage classification removes recyclable and difficult-to-degrade substances and reduces the amount of garbage by more than 50%. Discarded batteries contain toxic substances such as metal mercury and cadmium, which will cause serious harm to human beings. Waste plastics in the soil will lead to a reduction in crop production. Discarded waste materials are eaten by animals by mistake, resulting in the death of animals. Therefore, recycling may reduce harm.

China uses 3 billion plastic fast food boxes and 500-600 million instant noodle bowls every year, with waste plastics accounting for 3-7% of domestic waste. One ton of waste plastic can be recycled into 600 kilograms of unleaded gasoline and diesel. Recycling 1500 tons of waste paper can avoid cutting down trees used to produce 1200 tons of paper. After melting, a ton of pop cans can form a ton of good aluminum blocks, and 20 tons of aluminum ore can be mined less. 30%-40% of the production waste can be recycled, and this small and profitable resource should be treasured.

In order to embrace a green economy, the Chinese government has started to push for the mandatory implementation of the garbage sorting system in 2019. After 46 cities are piloted, it is estimated that by 2025, all cities above the prefecture-level will have built garbage classification systems, with a broad market for garbage classification services. Shanghai was the first city to issue regulations on the classification of domestic waste and implemented waste recycling at a fixed place and at a fixed time. However, I have noticed that many Shanghai residents complain that it is difficult for them to waste time in an appropriate way due to lack of knowledge, meet the needs of the community, and sometimes even find it difficult to find garbage cans in the streets.

I want to solve these problems. My goal is to make it easier for Chinese citizens to enter the era of garbage sorting by providing services such as intelligent garbage sorting assistants and software positioning garbage cans. With a simple click, we will tell our users how to sort the garbage and when and where to throw it. My vision is to create a greener tomorrow.

My software can help people find the type of garbage and the nearest available garbage can. We will have the most comprehensive and possibly only available garbage can map on the market so that customers can easily find the most recently available garbage can.

    Ahlan Nina He!
    Greetings from UAE

First off, congratulations on this post. I completely agree with the fact that human waste generation has been toxic to our environment for quite some time now. Humans are producing so much waste and can not cope with it in a safe manner. Waste that is not biodegradable and can not be properly recycled covers our rivers and landfills.

    Great Report

Hello Nina He, this is mentor Taehyun!

Thank you for the wonderful article that highlights the great solutions presented with specific data! Most of all, I would like to compliment you on the fact that even one software idea is not specific but has a clear solution to make a solution! To give you an additional idea, it would be fun to create an application that tells you how to dispose of your product's packaging materials using the barcode recognition function on your smartphone!

    Thank you for the report!
