The scientists note that ocean acidification is already detectable and is accelerating. They caution that its negative impacts can be avoided only by limiting future atmospheric CO2 levels.

Living in a small Island Nation (Chuuk, Micronesia) I see the effect of climate change. We are the most affected ones. The big nations should not only be concerned with their own country's gain. When the sea level rises it is not their country that would be wiped out from the map but ours. They should see what their huge carbon footprint is doing to our small island nation.

Ocean acidification is also a problem because sea life will die as the ocean acidifies more and many different organisms will be affected

the main CO2 producing countries are developed countries like china, America, india so they must be concerned to this topic first and others developing countries will automatically be involved in this great issue of environment

Hmm....I didn't know that the ocean absorbs carbon dioxide!! To solve the ocean acidification, what can we do? Will coral reefs help?

Yes, it's an irony that the climate change caused by human activities is still on discussion.
