wind power is very much essential to control the uses of non renewable resources

@EJin you got a right point!

  • says :
Even with renewable energy, we must cut down our energy consumption.

  • says :
The problem is that wind power has 25% efficientcy of fossil fuels.
    Posted 25-02-2013 19:55

  • says :
Yea as many of you already know, renewable energy resources have a lot of ironies in its development, use and disposal. I wish the ironies can be resolved by development of technology.

Jeonghyun Lee

  • Jeonghyun Lee says :
Hmm.. It's true that wind power can generate quite a lot of energy and has relatively little impact on the environment compared with other renewable energy sources. It's also true that they have some negative impacts as with every other technology.
Still, I think companies could solve those problems as they develop wind power technologies :D
Thanks for the informative video! It has great content and is fun to watch :D

@Dohee Lee : Solar power is also an important source of solar energy. Many of the countries are using solar power for the energy production. But when you talks about non-sunny days , then at that time , it becomes difficult for solar power generation. and when you talks about wind power , it's more environmental friendly and can wind-mill can be set up easily as compare to solar power plant.

  • says :
Wind energy and solar energy are one of the important source of alternate energy power. From the environmental point of view , wind power is more preferable.

  • says :
Yea, and after the Fukushima explosion, the importance of renewable energy resources is getting much more importance. I think wind power generation will be more general. :)

  • says :
Wind power is used quite widely in Europe . I saw these windmills ( manufactured by Siemens ) during my visit to Holland and Germany this year. However, these appear to be very expensive and still not affordable for developing countries. As Dohee rightly pointed out, solar energy is a more commercially viable option. But its true that we must investigate all alternate energy sources before the fossil fuels run out!

  • says :
    Really? how about solar power????
    Posted 28-10-2011 15:38

  • says :
wind power is the only source of alternative energy power, which can enables to encourage development of energy sector , especially in Tanzania, due to scarcity of energy power, also for environmental conservations, its time for African Nation to make critical researching on how to implementing the wind power energy. thanks
