Mitsubishi Estate Corporation decided to introduce new type LED lightings for their winter season illumination event in Marunouchi area, Tokyo.

The new type LED bulb called ?New eco illumination? can reduce 75.5 percent of energy use than usual one while keeping same brightness.

In addition, all electronic power used for their lightings will be provided by renewable energy.

Mitsubishi is one of the biggest corporation in Japan and I am so glad to know that such a big company is becoming aware of their environmental impact. I hope other Japanese companies will follow Mitsubishi?s action and start to reconsider sustainability of their holiday season events.
