After spending years and years in abroad, Mr. Kumar Karki thought of doing something in his own country in Nepal and use the technology and style of grape farming in Japan into Nepal. He introduces some Japanese varieties of grapes like Koshu and now there are number of varieties of grapes in his vineyard from France and other countries too. Horticulture teacher introduced agricultural students about the first Nepali Vineyard and winery in Nepal in Patleban. And here?s short clip on visit to Patleban Vineyard by those enthusiastic students who came out of the classroom onto the farm. Patleban Vineyard and winery is the first Vineyard and winery in Nepal.
