FOODER CROPS AND THEIR IMPACT
Fooder crops are as like other crops but, whats the difference? Is there something noteworthy to fooder crops? Do fooder crops have impact in climate change? If yes, then are the positively correlated or negatively correlated?
Hello everyone today I will be discussing about fooder crops, their importance and their impact to our environment.
Fooder crops are one which are primarily designed for feeding animals and are highly nutritive palatable and fulfils the daily dietary requirement of animals. Those grasses and few other shrubs and perennial plants planted commercially or domesticated for feeding their farm animals.
Do fooder crops have impact in climate change? Yes, of course they have an impact on climate change and are highly noteworthy. The ecosystem services provided by fooder crops have a high value and it is also considered that Fooder crops aids in reducing the environment heat and also reduces CO2 content of a particular area.
Next, important thing is its quite different from other domesticated crops. Though being domesticated, its encountor and damage by insect pest and rodents is minimum and also no chemical herbicides and pesticides are encountered in fooder crop field.
Did do you know, in any soil chemical properties change, micro-organisms are most likely to suffer and even can decline to zero. The note worthy known plant growth promoting rhizobacteria is also missing in ecosystem, which are mostly not even considered a part of ecosystem.
