Samsung Engineering in conjunction with the United Nations Environment Programme is proud to launch 'The 8^th Eco-generation Environmental Essay Competition,' inviting young people all over the world to raise awareness on the UN's new initiative '2015 time for global action for people and planet'.

As many of you know, Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon issued his Synthesis Report, which presented the vision for the post-2015 sustainable development agenda, in December 2014. Drawing from the experience of two decades of development practice and from input gathered through an open and inclusive process, the report, The Road to Dignity by 2030, charts a road map to achieve dignity in the next 15 years.
