Tunza Eco-generation retains and uses your personal information during the period of service provision, starting from the date of the membership commencement. We will immediately destroy your personal information in case of one of the following circumstances:

a. The User requests for withdrawal from membership or withdraws from the consent to the gathering and use of personal information. (However, services the User can use may be limited in whole or in part once the information is destroyed.)

b. The purpose of gathering and use of personal information has been accomplished.

c. The period of retention and use of personal information has been expired.

d. The User has not logged onto the website for a certain period of time and given consent to the disposal of personal information.

Inactive Account Policy

The policy for an inactive user account has been framed out under and in accordance with the Article 16.1 of the Enforcement Decree of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc. of the Republic of Korea in order to protect personal information of members who have not used the service for a long time.

User accounts that have not logged on to the Tunza Eco-generation site for a period of one (1) year will be shifted into dormant status and their personal information will be separately kept.

A dormant account shall be re-activated after undertaking the verification process.

Procedure and method for the destruction of personal information

Tunza Eco-generation’s procedure and method for the destruction of personal information are as follows:

ο Upon our request, the IT technician will log onto the members’ database and delete the information the User provided, such as to apply for membership, without leaving any record, once the purpose of use of the information is accomplished.

ο Paper documents that contain Users’ personal information will be destroyed by shredding or incinerating, whereas the information stored in an electrical format will be deleted by using a technical method that ensures that the record cannot be reconstructed in any way.
