 Dear All Eco-generation members, We are more than glad to announce the launch of the Global Youth Eco-Leadership Summit to be held in Seoul, Korea.
Global Youth Eco-Leadership Summit(GYELS) is Eco-generation's comprehensive environmental education package based on various activities to grow the future leaders.
GYELS is consisted of 3 parts as below:
GYELS PART 1. Global Youth for the Environment Forum (GYEF) GYEF is a very rare academic opportunity to take lectures about the environmental issues from distinguished instructors including UN officials, prominent scholars and even eco-conscious celebrities. GYELS PART 2. GYELS Sessions Specially prepared time for the participants to build friendship and foster their global networking via various cultural exchange programs including presentation, games and parties
GYELS PART 3. Excursions To maximize the value of GYELS, cultural excursions are prepared for the global delegates. This will provide the participants of beautiful memories about Korea and fun memories with other global delegates.

[Global Youth Eco-Leadership Summit] • Date: Feb 11(Tue)~15(Sat), 2014 • Venue: Seoul, South Korea • Eligibility -Age: Between 13~15(As of 13 December, 2013) -Language: An intermediate level of English fluency is required *Applicants who have Indian nationality must apply the 2014 Global Youth Eco-Leadership Summit via 'Eco-generation Environmental Essay Competition in India'. Otherwise, submitted applications to wrong category(Global, Saudi Arabia) will not be considered. *Applicants who reside in Jubail, Saudi Arabia must apply the 2014 Global Youth Eco-Leadership Summit via 'Eco-generation Environmental Essay Competition in Jubail, Saudi Arabia'. Otherwise, submitted applications to wrong category(Global, India) will not be considered. • Benefits - Cost coverage: Flight, accommodation, local transportation and meals - Flight standard: Economy Class - Accommodation: Lexington Hotel in Seoul (Twin shared room for students) - Meals: Muslim and vegan meals are available upon request - Chaperone: Benefits shall be the same except for the flight tickets - UM service is available for the delegates fly alone without chaperone *Traditional cloths or the national flag can be required for the GYELS Cultural Exchange session.

How to apply Please submit your application to the correct option. There will be more delegates from several countries. Number of winners may be subject to change by the decision of Samsung Engineering. Former delegates of the Global Youth for the Environment Forum are not eligible to enter the 2014 Global Youth Eco-Leadership Summit.

• Eligibility: Tunza Eco-generation members aged between 13-15 • Application: 18 Nov ~ 13 Dec, 2013 • Registration: • Requirements - The title of the Application form is: The reason why I have to participate in GYELS. - Please write why you have to participate in GYELS and what kind of contributions you can offer to the GYELS in 100-words in content box. - Applicant¡¯s picture(taken in 1 year) must be attached to the Application form. The File name of the picture should be the first name of the applicant. Only JPG, JPEG, GIF and PNG formats will be accepted. - CV must be attached to the Application form. *Note The personal information must be correct. Eco-generation is not responsible for any problem caused by incorrect personal information. If the selected applicant does not respond to Eco-generation's notice e-mail in 5 business days, the selection will be automatically canceled and the opportunity will be given to the next applicant. Only one entry per student allowed. Multiple applications will not be accepted. Referential documents except for profile photo and CV will not be considered. Paper and E-mail applications are not accepted. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Late applications will not be considered.
