Winners Announcement of the 12th Eco-generation Environmental Essay Competition

We would like to express our sincere gratitude for your time and efforts to write an essay for the 12th Eco-generation Environmental Essay Competition on Beat Air Pollution. We feel so proud of the all participants who made great pieces of works, of which were full of creative ideas in regards to the importance of beating air pollution in our world today.

Jury's Comment

Thanking all who submitted their essays to the 12th Eco-generation Environmental Essay Competition focusing on air pollution.  It was my honor to be asked to review and judge them.

Your essays demonstrate commitment and passion to the protective environment which nature unconditionally provides us, with nothing further asked than we respect and husband it.

Your submissions ranged from scientific analysis of sources, effects and, dangers of air pollution to your sobering personal stories and, even to the realm of science fiction.  These essays all picture an issue of global significance which cries for more attention than is currently given by the sectors of humanity (individual, corporate, government and, culture).

Your words, the written expressions of your passion, are like the seeds of a flower, waiting for the winds of your actions to carry them to fertile minds.  I encourage you to continue the spirit of this project through your actions.

As our Jury mentioned, we received numerous remarkable essays. However, we regret that only the limited number of entries can be chosen as winners. We do appreciate your generous understanding once again.

In this year, UN environment selected ONE entry for their UN environment prize and total of 26 winners, including the UN environment prize winner, have been selected out of more than 240 entries from 46 countries.
