Dear All Eco-generation Friends,

As you all may know, one of the most festive global environmental campaign is coming up this month! 

It is the Earth Hour, which is when millions of people all around the world turn off their lights in support of nature and our mother Earth. Earth Hour takes place every last Saturday of March, and this year, it will take place on the 28th March between 8:30PM~9:30PM in your local time zone.

This world wide movement initially took place in Sydney, Australia in the year 2007. Since then, it has grown bigger and bigger and now more than 7,000 cities and towns across 187 countries and territories take part each year.

Surely, as environmental enthusiasts, we can't miss this valuable opportunity to show our love for mother Earth! With that being said, we would like to ask our TUNZA Eco-generation members to participate in the 2020 Earth Hour. Here are the two ways:      

1. On March 28th, from 8:30 to 9:30, turn off all the lights in your house for an hour. Take picture of yourself participating in this event (photo of yourself turning off the lights to photos of your candles instead of light bulbs... be as creative as you can be!) And upload it on your Facebook / Instagram with hastags #Connect2Earth and #EcoGeneration OR upload it at Our Actions>World Report at TUNZA Eco-generation website (Please be sure to include the key words, 'Earth Hour' at the title of your report).

2. Research more about the Earth Hour - from its initial history to its current impacts - and tell us more about it at Our Actions>World Report! (Please be sure to include the key words, 'Earth Hour' at the title of your report).

We will choose the most thoughfully written reports / postings and have them featured on our Special Earth Hour Newsletter.
