UAE Energy Strategy 2050 sets a 50 per cent target for clean energy in the total energy mix by 2050, among others. When the government and the people all join in a vision together and work hard then it is possible to achieve success. It is imperative that steps and forward thinking goes hand in hand to realise the well thought plans. The UAE will invest AED 600 billion in clean energy initiatives until 2050 to achieve its economic needs and reach its environmental goals. Under the new plan, 44 percent of the UAE?s energy output will be from clean energy sources while 6 percent will be nuclear.
