Workshop to Combat Climate Change and to address other SDGs

The Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) 2015 agendas could not achieved all set target. Still more than eight hundred million has daily income less than 1.25 dollar. Deforestation, acid rain, water acidification, hunger, illiteracy, et cetera are major global issues, and low and middle-income countries are more vulnerable. Thus, the global went for the comprehensive agendas and these are recognized as Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030. It has 17 goals and it commenced on January 1st, 2016.
IDEAS for La Grandee  organized one day workshop. The workshop was designed to address all 17 SDGs, including special session on SDG-13. The theme of the workshop was "Workshop to Combat Climate Change and to address other SDGs"

Methodology
 According to the objectives above, there was  three sessions. 
The first session was an introductory. The participants  knew about MDGs and SDGs and reasons for MDGs transformation to SDGs. This session was for about one hour.


The second session was the major part of this workshop. That was  focused on SDG-13. We had group works, their presentation, drawing description, and many more. I was facilitating the session and also the representative from Climates Nepal Kiran Gurung had a wonderful motivating talks during second session. 

I was surprised seeing the enthusiasm and curiosity of delegates on the discussion forum, i took the session for about 3 hours which was just like 3 minutes to be with such a wonderful team and i was pleased to represent myself as an ambasador of Tunza Eco-generation.I gave then the sticky notes, scales and pens as a love from Tunza.


The third session was after lunch break. This session  was mainly focused on the roles of youths for achievement of SDGs targets. We  conducted group activities in a creative way.  This was the last session.  
After that session, we had concluding program. Participantsgot certificates with  appreciating  experts with token of love.
