Hi everyone from Taiwan! I would like to draw your attention to my 12-th report on topic related to The World Environmental Day.The World Environment Day on June 5 is a day when citizens around the world celebrate the preservation of the earth that we all share. To show its concern over global greenhouse effect and its commitment to fighting global warming, Taiwan has called on all to celebrate the World Environment Day saving energy and cutting CO2 together on June 5 in an effort to lower the Earth's temperature and fight warming. Samsung Electronics has been making concerted efforts to reduce the environmental impact of its array of world-class products. In addition, last year (2017) Samsung employees around the world are also engaged in various environmental initiatives, and in celebration of World Environment day. For example, in Taiwan, a hundred Samsung employees and prestige customers travelled to the Sanshing township where they volunteered in the local rice fields. I am from Russia, so I was interested to know that about 250 volunteers descended on the picturesque Park in Moscow as part of Samsung Russia?s activities. All this was accompanied by educational activities and team competitions. This year I and my classmates are going to participate in The World Environment Day on June 5. Campuses and schools are the best place to promote sustainable environmental development. Through the promotion of environmental education and exchange of experience, the green, ecological, environmentally protective, healthy, energy-saving and resources-saving objectives of sustainable development can be achieved. Global warming has become the environmental issue mankind is concerned about most in this century. In addition to abnormal climates, global warming has comprehensively impacted global ecological system, agriculture, water resources and the survival of species, and resulted in dramatic geographical changes. Now I am reading the book AS DEAD AS A DODO about extinct animals and birds. This book is very sad. By the way, this book is made of recycled paper. |
