Sharing Tunza with less-fortunate kids!by Carlos Montemayor | 31-01-2018 09:07 |

It took a few months, but it finally happened. Last summer, I was fortunate to spend 3 days tutoring some underprivileged children in a local community near us. The program was hosted by He Cares Mission, with the objective of pushing local kids to continue and finish education despite the low graduation rates in Philippine public schools. Over those days, I became attached to them and developed a passion to help them in other ways in the future. Just a few days ago, I was able to distribute the pens and other stationery that Tunza sent last year. Together with this, I distributed the brochures about Tunza and our environmental awareness advocacy. They received all this joyfully, and I truly hope that I will be able to connect Tunza with He Cares in the future. Edit: having some problems with uploading the image of the kids and the supplies; it's here on this link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Y28vz8jCB9tjCruNjuYW5jDqnO8-z3_C/view?usp=sharing |
