Thinking Capacity

by Ishimwe Eric Josue | 18-01-2018 08:04

These days i was busy with my exams. There, i realized something interested about water. During my every single prep, i could drink up 4 bottles of water within 2 hours. This was so strange to me. Usually, i don't like water that i can even pass a week without drinking pure water; unless, when my brain is on work, trying to memorize something, or trying to find a solution for a certain issue. This made me think, why should i need water for a good functional brain. Here are few things i found about this wondrous system.

We all know that most of the things on this earth need something that make it work or function. Like cars need fuel to function, our brains need water too in order to perform its activities productively. You might say, "well i don't drink water and i think well anyway" or "i drink alot of water but my thinking capacity still the same anyway". Whatever you think it doesn't matter. Different researches have shown that, Whenever you drink water, your brain's capacity to capture fasten little or more; ofcourse depend upon our brains capacity and sizes. That's where lies the above mentioned queries.

Our brains contain almost 75% of water. Therefore our thinking capacity go down as our brain get tired. Our brains get tired while trying to recover the lost ingredients including that water. We usually call it "refreshment". Well, now you think, "this guy is real biologist or chemist" ; huh, no way, I'm just giving my view about  this issue by using small facts i have about this. Back to this point, the challenge is how we should maintain that percentage of water circulating in our brains. Some people suffer from deficit of water while others suffer the excess of water in their brains. This sometimes cause serious illness. But luckily, here are some recommendations as suggested by many professionals in that field; drink alot of water then workout or exercise.

I know most of Eco-members, we are students. I hereby recommend you to try water, if you have ever faced thinking disturbance, losing focus while studying, etc. It is a small thing, mostly don't cared about until we start suffering its impacts. From these very days of my exams i started carrying at least 2 bottles of water wherever i go. I wish i could hear from any biologist, physicist or chemist from my fellow Eco-members.
