![]() Hello Everyone! There was a 72 hour Short Film Contest being organized by the Visual Media And Theatre Club at my college. The Topic was "Gaze". I wanted to create one and was back at home and couldn't get a crew of friends to help in acting, camera, etc. So I was alone. I also wanted to give a good message to the people and me being an Tunza Eco Generation Ambassador, I wanted to give an environmental message. So I made one, with the name "Shiksha" (means Punishment in Malayalam). The movie is without much dialogues and its more in English only. Request everyone to watch it and give your suggestions. Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xlvu88epYTg&t=44s Beware, don't expect too much. Understand the movie was made single-handedly by me, even acting, camera, script, direction, editing, etc. So, in shots where I myself I had to be shot, I either placed the camera somewhere or held it myself and did a selfie video shoot. Also, I shot it on a Mobile camera as I didn't have a good quality one with me at the time. Some people didn't understand the story completely, so if you didn't understand even after watching the movie, read the summary below: (Beware, Spoilers ahead!!) Our Mistakes, like harming the Earth and wasting its resources, are being closely watched by two people. One is Nature, and Nature is taking revenge by the many natural disasters we are having now. And the next is the people of the future. Our mistakes will lead to nothing left for them and to prevent that, they will start their revenge soon. A revenge they are doing is being shown in the short film, where an assassin from the future using a time machine, (disguised as a ghost to prevent the present day man to be confused) kills Mr. Savio Daniel, a person wasting water and electricity. The message is we need to make sure not to do mistakes of harming the nature or wasting resources as the Future will soon start coming and taking revenge very soon. Its a warning.
