Kathmandu, Capital City of Nepal is facing huge challenges of Air Pollution. After monsoon, the roads of Kathmandu have become dusty. The different recording instrument kept at different places shows the reading of 50 micron in Bhaisepaty, 69 in Birendra Army School Area, 56 in Shankapark and 30 in Ratnapark. Air quality rules indicate that the recordings should be 40 micron(2.5PM) but the reports in Kathmandu shows that they are far away from it. According to WHO, it should be only 25 micron. The main reasons of air pollution in Kathmandu are Vehicles, brick factories and other air pollutant emitting industries. According to WHO report, 2016 9943 people die due every year in Nepal due to Air Pollution. According to the report of Sarbiya Numbia DotCom, Kathmandu is the third most polluted city of world.
