You may start a company that accumulate and treat wastes in appropriate way. And earn a little on that service while impacting the lives of variate people. Here in Rwanda, most of those companies employ large number of young people. 1$ Per month on one household. It looks small but big in general. It doesn't require a lot of calculations. It is simple and understandable. Gather a team, follow your government business law (register as non for profit organization) then go to work.

You may also start a project of generating electric power from those wastes. Accumulate wastes and recycle into electric power. Here in Rwanda someone introduced biogaz. where wastes become a source of electrical energy. This have changed a lot of Rwandans lives specifically in remote areas where there is no electricity.
