by CARLOS JR. DEGAMO | 30-10-2017 00:45

The PHILIPPINES have a high species diversity and high endemicity and I state some of them but before that we define first what is endanger and endemic and According to Wikipedia ENDANGERED define as Faces a high risk of extinction in the near future. While in ENDEMIC define as restricted or unsual to a locality or region.

The Philippines is one of the world's most exotic of some kinds of birds experts documented 577 bird species around the Philippines. By this quantity, 185 species are endemic or in short, they are only found here in the Philippines. And according to The Bird Life International listed 116 of them as "threatened" or "near-threatened".

Here are some Causes of Endangerment of Birds:
1.     They are easily eye-catching birds and thus vulnerable to being shot; 2. They are captured for pets or food purposes; 3. Their environment has been devastated, especially lowland virgin forest; and lastly, they are limited to one or two islands.

In addition, according to wikipedia, here in the Philippines are also have About 70 percent of the Philippines? nearly 21,000 recorded insect species are found only in this hotspot and About one-third of the 915 butterflies originate here only in  the Philippines located, and over 110 of the greater than 130 species of tiger beetle are originate here in the philippines.
