Pesticides are useful chemicals that used in agriculture for destroying insects that are harmful to cultivated plants and animals. As much as pesticides are useful they are harmful to the environment, food (crops), health?Pesticides such as insecticides and herbicides are widely used mainly in conventional agriculture and their use has been increasing in the past couple of years. As the amount of use has increased so did its effect. For instance, recently, there has been an incident in parts of Europe such as Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, France, Sweden, Britain, etc? because eggs contaminated with the insecticide Fipronil have been sold in many areas. Similar incident happened in South Korea. This contamination can be an evidence of the dangers of pesticides. As I have said above, pesticides are dangerous and here are 3 major effects. 1. Risk on healthPesticides cause many health problems such as cancer, reproductive organ issues, birth defects, poisoning etc? Its? effects can cause up to loss of life. 2. Environmental effectsThe environment is highly affected by pesticides. Contamination of soil, water, vegetations, toxic to some beneficial insects, fishes etc are some of the effects. 3.
