My apologies for the late posting. We have so many activities that I needed to attend to. But as they say, better late than never ) As many of you know, September is International Coastal Clean Up Month and simultaneously, together with my organization (Let's Do It Philippines) and the Department of Environment and Natural Resourcess' Bayan Ko Linis Ko (Translation: It's My Country, My Responsibility) Program, we celebrated it with a clean up. Just in my city, we gathered 100 participants from different high schools. We had a clean up at the Cleanergy Park on September 16 and afterwards, we gave them a tour of the Marine Protected Area. Let's Do It Philippines aims to have 5 Million volunteers for the 2018 clean up day next year.
It is always a top priority for us to make environmental actions as engaging and as informative as possible. |
