flood situation in India

Recently in the month of July-August there are very big flood calamity occurred in Assam in India. 250-300 wild animals are died in this condition. Many of the the NGO rescuer are worked very hard and save many of the wild animals. nearly 1000 wild animals are still affected by this flood. Governmental agencies are also supporting and providing add day to day by helicopter. The main cause of this flood is over rain and river water flow. The kaziranga national park in Assam is more affected by this calamity. The kaziranga national park is famous for one horn rhino, also declared as Unesco World Heritage Site. Thirty-three lakh people were affected in 25 districts, including Dhemaji, Lakhimpur, Biswanath, Sonitpur, Darrang, Baksa, Nalbari, Barpeta and Bongaigaon. Dhemaji district in upper Assam is the worst-hit where nearly one lakh people were affected. Flood water is flowing over the roofs of houses in many areas. The Army's flood relief columns are involved in relief and rescue operations in Purabheti and Jaklabandha. They have established liaison with the state administration and are coordinating relief operations with them.
