Devastating wildfires in British Columbia

Most of them confirmed to have started by lightning, and some by human error

More than 1,400 B.C. contract fire fighters and support personnel supporting are battling wildfires in B.C. 

A Smoky Skies Bulletin covered Greater Victoria, Vancouver Island and much of B.C. Poor air quality persisted throughout the southern half of British Columbia as tinder dry conditions continued to fuel wildfires.

Campfires currently have been banned across most of British Columbia.

The recent fires have burned 604,000 hectares and cost the province Canadian Dollars 243 million so far.
