This month for my Eco generation promotional activity I meet with the environmental club members of Nazareth School and St. Joseph School, both located in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

While talking to the members, I was able to discuss their respective activities, plans and members. To start with the Nazareth School Environmental Club, the club has almost two hundred members with the club holding meeting once every week. During the meetings the members discuss environmental issues and awareness creation. The club sets up trash cans in the school campus and organizes cleaning days. While raising awareness the club posts different articles and pictures and also distributes t-shirts. In addition to this, it provides cleaning materials for sanitary purposes.  Coming to the St. Joseph club, the club has over fifty members, also holding weekly meetings every Thursday, having similar activities such as discussions and awareness activities. In addition to this the club will possibly be having an environmental fieldtrip in the near future. The clubs also in collaboration organize Q&A?s, planting or seeding activates, and celebrate Environmental day on both campuses. Finally, I was also able to distribute Eco Generation flyers and notepads with the members of the club.
