by Clement Kandodo | 14-04-2017 04:56

This report highlights on the tree planting exercise which I took part as FK Norway volunteer, AYESE Exchange Participant. This took place on 1st March 2017 in Mpingu area. 300 trees were planted by the students, youth club members and the partnered organisations Network for Youth Development, BCI, Development Fund of Norway and visitors from Ethiopia under My Life my Choice project.

From there we had youth participation panel discussion. This took place at us embassy auditorium room. The aim was to discuss how do different organisations understand and define youth participation on environmental conservation and climate change. The panel was represented by National Youth Council, Development Fund of Norway, My Age Zimbabwe Trust, Youth Leadership Scheme Participant and the YALI Mandela Washington fellow. It was then open for the discussion and questions.
