The national natural parks of Colombia occupy 11.04% of the continental territory of the country, with 59 natural national parks and some 12,602,320 hectares.

Many are in unique ecosystems of colombia, which makes very varied, there are cultural, social, marine and tourist heritages, but all in their natural importance, they are the water reservoirs of the nation.

Because of this they are of great importance but also of great risk, climatic change obliges to change the climatic variability and stability, in the equator any change can be harmful, as in the paramos and the perpetual snows, hydrological reserves that of the water to 70 % Of the population and reach the rivers that cross the country, are also home to Aboriginal indigenous families and fishing population, all living in relative harmony.

Although of all this the sad thing is that the people of the country do not know nor reference the natural parks, and those that do not dimension the environmental damage that they leave leaving their residues in these, the regulation and the preservation although they are very strong they are not Sufficient for the lack of self-awareness.
