by | 30-03-2017 16:41

Atmospheric pollution is the intrusion of the atmosphere of particles and gases, thus affecting its quality. In Togo, in Lomé more specifically, there is a strong air pollution due to the release of Smoke from the many industrial plants in the free zone. These fumes are composed of carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide, nitrogen dioxide and sulfur ... In addition, the smoke from the incineration of tires in the abattoir not far from Cimtogo. The health of the inhabitants of the locality and its surroundings is threatened by the unloading and reloading of the open-air clinker by the Burkinabe company CIMFASO. The inhabitants are therefore exposed to lung diseases, contamination Water and food, eye irritations ... In 2016, a program was devoted to the study of particles in West Africa, the results of the DACCIWA project are therefore expected in 2018.To finish I appeal to our Leaders to find solutions in order to honor their commitment which stipulates that every citizen has the right to live in a healthy environment
