 I along with my friends decided to utilize some of our free time to share some informations to the local students about the SDG goals and to fulfil my resolutions to the SDG goals made by me during the monthly event of February. I had made resolutions to spread awareness among the local society about the importance of quality education and clean water. So as to do this me along with my friends decided to conduct a small awareness programme among the students of Manchauka School, to teach them about Sustainable development goals and make them aware about them. This programme was conducted on March 10 among the students of class 8 and 9 in the hall of the school. The participation of the students were overwhelming. They seemed to be very enthusiastic about the programme. The programme was very effective and we got a positive response from the principal of the school. We used presentations and videos to make the programme more effective. I along with the joint cooperation of my 2 friends gave timely presentations to the students about the SDG goals and what can be done to fulfill them from our level. Different inquiries were taken and were answered. Overall the programme was effectively conducted and we hope to be able to conduct such in other school also. |
