![]() Will we ever be able to put nature infront of our need? Can we ever stop being so ignorant about our surroundings? When will we start to use our brains and think about others? Will we always be the same selfish humans that we are today? We have already learned so much about our past. People are much more aware about our future consequences than they were ever in the past. We cannot change the fact that if our acts are not cleaned soon, we will soon reach the brink of extinction. The effects of pollution and climate change are already acting in. Recently a 10 days fair was held in my municipality. It is held once in every two years by the name of "Sundarbazar Mahotsabh". It is a well renowned fair that is estimated to be attended by about 2000 people everyday. It is a very important event in economic and social view. It helps for the upliftment of the economic and social status of the municipality. Yesterday was the last day of the fair. Though the fair was a huge success but it had a great effect in the environmental aspect of my municipality. After the end of the fair a lot of waste was unmanagedly thrown. Lots of paper, plastic, dirt were thrown throughout the surrounding. People had no care about the nature. The only thing they cared about was money. Neither the organizers nor the locals cared enough to manage those waste. The scenic beauty of the place was completely lost. All I hope is that we will stop to act so carelessly. We will acknowledge the fact that the degradation of nature is our loss too. We will start to implement the learnings into actions. We will work together for a green and clean future. |
