Al Gore is known to many as the former Vice President of the United States of America as well as the Nobel Peace Prize laureate through his environmental initiatives targeting that of climate change. As chairman of the Climate Reality Project, the organization emphasizes the need to ?catalyze a global solution to the climate crisis by making urgent action a necessity across every level of society? in quoting their mission statement. • 24 Hours of Reality: A broadcasting event set all over the world bringing about the inevitable problems in the modern day with each hour set in a specific geographical location by means of conversation and storytelling.

• The Climate Reality Leadership Corps: A training program providing keen, passionate global leaders with a mindset on the climate sciences with the necessary knowledge such as that of organization and planning to come up with concrete solutions.

• I AM PRO SNOW: An ambassador program for individuals, companies, and towns to exhibit the need to maintain temperature levels through hands on projects in relation to winter sports activities

A more creative approach to tackling the aforementioned is also taken into account on Gore?s part, with his writings. Personal lifestyle is another factor. Making the decision to gradually shift from an omnivorous diet to cutting down on meat to regularly adapting a vegan diet was observed by the media and acknowledged by Gore himself. As the meat industry is a major contributor to the already accentuated rates of carbon emissions and water depletion, this was taken into account, though not at all mandatory. Even the most trivial of actions bear significance. Once others follow pursuit, its interconnectedness have the power to change the world.
