Normally, Sri Lanka has cold and dry weather condition in December, January time period. But, Sri Lankan community is badly experiencing the effects of climate change these days because we did not receive enough rainfall for two months period of time. Sri Lanka is a country, having an agricultural economy and the paddy cultivating seasons mainly depend on the rainfall patterns. The less rainfall and the changes in rainfall pattern badly affected to crop cultivation and in some areas of Sri Lanka, people do not have sufficient pure water to drink.
