Climate Change: Can it simply be deleted?

by | 26-01-2017 11:25

Is climate change real? Is is a hoax? Can we make the threat of climate change disappear by hitting DELETE on our computer? The White House has removed the page that was devoted to climate change action from its website. Does that make the problem go away? Wouldn't it be nice if the solution was that simple. Additionally, a website for the Council on Environmental Quality also disappeared it was founded in 1969 so has endured for many years. Why the sudden change? The 'delete syndrome' continues with the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) website which has been rumored to have pages that will be deleted as well. Pertinent information contained on these pages with links to important reports will become more difficult to access for scientists should these valuable sources disappear. The public is aware of the problem and simply erasing a page from a website will not erase it from the minds and hearts of those persons who are conscientious and passionate about climate change issues. Climate change is real, the effects are felt every day, and its causes have been revealed by scientists all over the world. As reported by respected sources, it only took one hour after the new administration took office for the website changes to be initiated. One hour, two degrees, one Earth, two choices. Either you support climate change initiatives to help save our Earth, or you don't. The choice is yours. One hour cannot change the fact that two degrees warmer for Earth could mean that we will be deleting more than simply pages on a website.
