Social media are computer-mediated technologies that allow the creating and sharing of information, ideas, career interests and other forms of expression via virtual communities and networks. They can be accessed online using machines like computers or phones.

The most popular social media channels are YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Google Plus+, Tumblr, Instagram, Reddit, VK, Flickr and Vine.

As we organise campaign we often use social media to reach more people, in 2016 I organised up to 3 campaigns on social media and the results were majestic. I decided to check if other leaders also build their web communication strategy through social media channels.

I then built a small survey and it was interesting to see that my expectations were true.
